The competition year has come to an end and the horses are finishing up their well-earned vacations. Thanks to their help and the help of their owners, I finished 2020 as the 37th ranked eventer in the US(out of 12,500), qualified for Tokyo Olympics, and with my first spot on a USEF Training List- specifically the Developing Rider List.
Our clients finished the year with wins in the Area 5 Training and Preliminary Championships. In other exciting news, congrats to Kelly Carter on the purchase of Celien, a previous CCI5L mount of Hallie Coon’s!
We have a lot of excited plans in place for 2021. We will head to Ocala at the end of January to take advantage of the training that’s offered through the USEF training program with Leslie Law. We will start our show season there with our great group of RB Riding clients and horses. We will attend Red Hills FEI on the way home in March to begin the Area 5 competition season. With a little luck, the big horses will do the CCI4S at Kentucky- a new addition to the calendar that is running alongside the CCI5L.
